Cardiac Technicians and Sonographers

Our Cardiac Sonographers are instrumental in providing quality cardiac diagnosis.

The team of cardiac technicians and ASAR qualified echocardiogram Sonographers at NT Cardiac perform diagnostics such as ECG, Holter, BP Monitoring & Pace maker checks (Please go to diagnostics page for more information).

They perform cardiac ultrasounds using state-of-the-art equipment. These cardiac ultrasound images assist doctors with images for review, report and optimise treatment.

During a diagnosis, the echo sonographer will perform a through scan and decide if each image they create is dicarded or used for analysis and treatment. They even assist physicians interpret images as an when required and ensure proper records are kept of the procedures and results.

Practice Nurse

Our in-house nurse is registered and qualified in BNRN, assisting with CTCAs and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms.

For Cath lab procedures at Darwin Private Hospital, NT Cardiac has joint ventured with Health Scope to administer and assist  with nursing staff.

We also collaborate with Royal Darwin Hospital nursing coordinators to assist NT Cardiac for remote clinics.

 Business Support Unit

NT Cardiac business support unit consists of Operations, Strategy, Finance , HR, Marketing & Administration. The business support unit is the backbone of NT Cardiac and ensure smooth running of all operations.
